When I got into this wonderful hobby, I found a used old school DX7 on Wattflyer that I've been using since then. Not that I have a lot to compare it to, but it's been working great for me. However, I starting to think I should upgrade to something a bit more advanced. The question is whether the DX8 has enough...

This looks like the one I've been waiting for. Price is supposed to be around $599...it uses all the current protocols, has some improvements over the 8FG, and of course...telemetry. Seems like its "just right," and a solid winner. It just so happens I'm currently looking to upgrade, so perfect timing! :bouncy:...

Definitive evidence that I suck. I went out for a little lunchtime huckin' today and put my cellphone on a bench and recorded some of it for fun. It's kind of humbling to watch (at least if you're me). I'm way, WAY too rough on the control and I'm constantly wrestling the plane. See for yourselves:...

Recently picked up a 59" 3DHS Slick during the garage sale held here on 3drcforums and wanted to write a small review on it based on the pros, cons, and things I found while building and flying the plane. Let me preface this by saying this is my first official review, I am an intermediate/advanced pilot and a...

I'm slightly nearsighted (-1.50) and normally wear glasses. On top of that, I also have some astigmatism. When I fly I wear contacts under my non-prescription polarizing sunglasses. The problem is my contacts don't correct for my astigmatism, so at at a specific angle (when the plane comes in from the left), I see...

Some of you may know me, many do not but my personal feelings on buying American and buying our RC goods from American shops and vendors would seem like the natural thing to do. We have hundreds of stores here in the US with great products, cheap prices and fantastic customer service. It makes me wonder why would...
