Oh I dont know. Chevy owners unite at outings, Ford owners unite at their own outings. Thats not to say that Chevy owners dont admire Fords and vice versa. Just because you prefer one brand over the other doesnt mean that you have to dislike the others. I prefer JR radios but thats not to say I wouldnt love to have a new $2200 Futaba. We have our lil radio wars at the field jokingly but I dont think the majority is serious or even takes it remotely seriously (pun intended). And if any of the involved parties dont like the joking, they always have the right to walk away or opt out of the bickering and jokes. This isnt directed at any specific person or brand lover here or anywhere else its just one mans opinion.

The 3DRCForums -OFF TOPIC- Thread

I've had both 3DHS and EF planes and they are both fantastic. I'm currently loving my EF 60" Edge.

I've always been the type of person that goes between all sorts of groups clicks because I don't like conflict and I'm a generally social person. When it comes to RC and 3D I think this issue should be even easier because it's clearly a common interest. So I'll never quite understand why everyone can't just get along...

Having said that I do typically feel more at home in the 3DHS threads. I can't quite put my finger on it but the EF threads are just different. But... I love both planes and I've met great people in both camps so I'm cool with whatever as long as there is mutual respect and mutual passion for the hobby that we all know and love.

Now everybody hold hands and lets sing some Kumbaya bitches!! :D

We just want to 3d! :D We are really hoping to keep this thread in particular brand neutral. If you fly 3d you are welcome here... just pretend it is the flight line at a real event and you are surrounded by tons of awesome people who are all flying something different than you. Keep it awesome and keep it friendly :D Those guys are humans too :D

The good thing is most of the people that ventured to this site were getting a little put off by the attitudes and arguments that would take place on the other site. The people that enjoy the drama will stay where the drama is at. We all just want to be friends here :)

Re: The 3DRCForums -OFF TOPIC- Thread

gyro...I think it would be a good idea to simply get rid of the 3DHS off topic thread and just have ONE off topic thread like this. That way we get EF guys, Pilot guys, and all the other people in ONE thread...I just think it would be cool if we could get over ourselves and be able to talk about 3D and the hobby in general without "my brand is better" arguements. It amazes me to see 50 yr old adults argueing over toy airplanes...I say we unite as a whole community rather than me hating Joe Smith just cuz he flies futaba radios....

+1

That is EXACTLY what we're trying to accomplish here in this thread specifically, and on this site in general!

Sweet!

Well, it's official. RCG has permanently banned me. Truly a shame :-(
