might have, but it's at the dump now, and some parts have been sold. Would have needed a motorbox, wing, canopy... new plane isn't much more.

Yuk! I'm as surprised as others about a Radian doing it in. I have a Radian Pro and if you challenged me to a duel I wouldn't do it. But as you said a 60mph closure is like hitting a wall!
"Safety hat on"- were you guys communicating on the line. Not Monday morning QB ing just curious.

Yes, I called "taking off" when I began my flight, and thought I had the low airspace as the 2 gliders were way up high (where they told me they were). One began returning to the field unannounced... It's the one I hit.

Sorry to hear about this Gary... don't know if it was asked back a page or so, did you sell the GP61?

No way! It's on it's way back from a precautionary checkup at limitless aero, and ready for a new airframe! :)

I don't understand why communication is so hard some times. Maybe it's the head tapping and belly rubbing thing (flying and talking at the same time). Crappy way to lose an airframe.

My Edge came in under 19lbs fully loaded with fuel. You can get 35lbs of thrust on a 23x8 falcon prop (or something like that Blake?)

So you'd be close to 2:1

I would use a tuned pipe if I were you with that elevation. I want to try a planebender smooth pipe on my 92. RE2 is the only choice I have used, but others prefer the K and S pipe.

If you have not purchased a motor yet, you can get a EME-60 for the same money and it performs at least equal to the DA-60 on a stock muffler.

I already have a DLE 55, and I was thinking about using an ES Composite pipe, because it fives a great power increase, but where can I see some specs on the EME 60. That sounds interesting.
