Scale 1/4 Scale 148" Shrike Commander

I am in talks with the guy who did the laser cutting, but at this point I think I am going to have to do all of the fuselage over again. If you were wondering how I feel about that, I am not very happy. I will see if I can salvage some of it. I know for sure that some of it will have to be done over again.

I have all the parts out that were included for the wing. Unfortunately, there are a lot of parts missing and almost nothing for the inner wing panels.

As you can see, the plans are incomplete. You also may be able to see that the ribs' lengths do not line up. The tracing was not done very accurately.

Unfortunately, I am at a stopping point now for everything. I am going to measure what I need to complete the wings and place an order for the wood.

I'm going to start over from scratch and make my own parts. I'm also going to just manage one build thread. Since FG supports Tapatalk, which makes uploading photos much easier, I am going that route. Please look me up on FG. Should be easy to find this build over there...

Gotta be more than that. Mac Hodges B-29 used 4 DA 100's and it was only 16' ws? 19?
well the aerocommander will be 12 feet . 33 (148 inches, ) so my guess two 40cc would be plenty , of course if you are going to 3D, which I doubt, you should have plenty of power , flying on the wings and not engines, my opinion only of course.

I'm leaning toward two 40cc twins. They should be plenty. Now, just so you know, the thread has been moved over to FG and some progress has been made over there...

tapatalk is old news, the best websites are responsive and no longer need a surrogate for mobile access. but whatever, FG might as well be siberia.
