    Food for thought......

WTF is this post doing on this forum???? Utterly irrelevant on a modelling site. And BTW: All of the current and pending, pain in the ass regulations of our hobby were enacted and signed into law by a REPUBLICAN congress and president.

Alert! CALL TO ACTION: FAA threatening new regulations!!!

They are not threatening. They announced it.

Giant scale MD-11 airliner. Good flight but bad landing

A couple of Full-Scale MD11's/DC10's have been involved in remarkably similar landings. Sadly, with less agreeable outcomes.

Sport It's Been 30 Years Need Some Advice

Rather than on the centerline you have marked, why not just put it halfway between the top and bottom of the airfoil. Perhaps using smaller rods. Alternately, it DOES seem to have a flat-bottomed airfoil.

Help! LiPo voltages at different stages ?

The best way is to leave them fully charged, in a warm environment, for and extended period of time.

Help! LiPo voltages at different stages ?

Looking at your earlier statement the 56-58% discharge would leave the battery charged to 42-48% of it's specified capacity.

Help! LiPo voltages at different stages ?

This is not in line with my experience. The numbers I quoted earlier, which come out to about 56- 58% are as high as I've ever seen in my personal experience, when discharged down to the 3.6 to 3.8 volts per cell level. There's a discharge cycle on my charger that will take a cell down to 3.2...

    Discussion Taranis Discussion Thread

I've had one for 2 years (open tx software) and I love it. The best part is the fact that there are no set output channels, meaning that you have to connect a control to a channel, which is the hardest to learn. Once you figure it out, though, it's super handy. You can mix anything with...

The only issue I've seen with these radios is that, when I first got mine, I joined a facebook page for the upper end FrSky radios. Most of the problems, for which people are asking assistance, start with the words "I just upgraded to Open-TX version x.xx.x and..." There is a real temptation...

I am. A prominent club member is a Rep for Horizon, so most of our club flies Spectrum, but I love mine. The only real difference between Open-Tx and other computer type radios is that there are no fixed output channels. This is handy, if you are using separate servos for flaperons or want to...

I have several. I would recommend researching the following. All are nominally 8 channels, or more. 1) X8R: Has telemetry and S-Bus expandability to 16 channels ($31.50) 2) D8R-II Plus: Pretty much the X8R without the S-Bus. (About $25.50) 3) L9R 9-12 channel "Long Range" receiver...
