    G26 Air Engine Question

Well, I got rid of it. I had a chance to trade locally for some scale truck parts I needed so I did it. But I just got a chance to fly my Beast 60e and it makes me want gas even more... The bigger the plane the better they fly! Gonna have to start saving...

    G26 Air Engine Question

I see what your saying about good used being near the same for price and appreciate that help, but unless I found locally or from someone I actually know and trust I would not purchase from an individual. Over the years on the internet I've been burned a few times and it always averaged out to...

    G26 Air Engine Question

That's ok, I guess I'll just order and see. I knew they had both, just figured I have this save a few bucks and go with it. I'll hope Zenoah hasn't changed. The 160$ is including the exhaust, cylinder, prop hub and hardware, and new coil. So as long as their new part number cross over I'll have...

    G26 Air Engine Question

dimes, I'd normally listen, but in this instance I know you are wrong. They do have electronic ignition and magneto ignition on the air models. According to Horizon Hobby the ZENE26A is magneto driven:http://www.horizonhobby.com/g26-air-engine-%28155-cu-in%29-zene26a. I have the boat motor in...

    G26 Air Engine Question

I'm looking at possibly going gas... Does anybody happen to know if the G26 Air Engine ZENE26A is the same as the G260PU? In pictures they appear the same, just don't know if anyone has both and can confirm before I order parts. I have an old(new)Zenoah G260PUM I bought a few years ago for a...

    Foamies!!!

Here you can see all the parts weigh approximately 75g And here is the bare wings and elevator before covering showing how I added the carbon strips.

    Foamies!!!

I pulled the paper off first. Then slit the foam, ca'ed some carbon strips in it to span the wings/elevator, then covered with the ultracote before assembly. The finished wings were the same weight as the wings with just paper. The finished parts with no carbon(fuselage, wing struts, vertical...

    Foamies!!!

Thanks! It's all in the Ultracote. That makes the dollar tree foam pretty stiff too and is a little lighter than the paper that comes on it.

    Foamies!!!

Here's one I just built! It's a 27" Pitts Model 12 scratch built with carbon reinforced wings made primarily of Dollar tree foam covered in Ultracote. And here's a foamy I'm almost done with. Not quite sure how well it'll fly... This has a 40" wing span, huge control surfaces, and is...

Black Hills / GSN Huckfest 2014 Official picture and video thread!!!

Hey, I'm the guy that was lugging the telescope around! I managed to go through all the pics I took and got them all uploaded. I have them separated into 3 albums(Thursday, Friday, Saturday). I got a lot of good ones! Wish I didn't have to work I could have enjoyed a lot more great flying! Feel...
