    Extra 300 104"

    I would not use standard voltage servos with Lipo batteries on the Powersafe receiver. I would use Life batteries if I had low voltage servos. Vegasking gave you the best advice. Personally I would get some high voltage servos and follow Vegasking's suggestion.

    Find something like this that will fit your canister. Or you can make one from lite ply and fuel tubing. http://www.valleyviewrc.com/estore/carbon-fiber-canister-mount-single.html This is on my 78" EF Extra but it will give you some idea. You don't want the canister flopping around in there.

    Yeah both my DA70 And VVRC40 are well broken in now and almost zero black residue anymore.

    Da-35! The DLE 40 twin is wider than the VVRC 40. It won't fit in the cowl. DLE 35 should work as well if you can't swing the DA-35. Why not the VVRC I have one and it is excellent in this airframe.
