Glad to have you onboard Mike. As you can see below, I am a big fan of your motors.

Ok, I DO NOT remember thunderstorms being part of today's forecast. :cursing: Oh well, I need to finish the Veloxity review anyway.

Welcome to the site Maurizio. That is a beautiful plane and a nice looking shop you have. Like Bipe asked, what plane are you looking to put the 60cc gasser in? If you are looking for suggestions, you've come to the right place.

I run 87 pump gas. That is all that has ever been in my motors and they start easy and run great. I mix it in 2 gallon batches with Promix from Lowe's.

No fly here today. 22+ MPH winds out of north. The club has a fun fly tomorrow and the winds look to be at or under 10 mph out of the north east which should put them close to down the runway. Temps start in the upper 30s and go to the upper 60s. Cold for this time of year for us. Trailer...

I am not going to go all out scale on this one. It will be my warbirds fun fly plane. But I am not looking for cookie cutter either.

I ordered the Hangar 9 60cc Corsair last night. I am still thinking about what motor to put in it. Evolution 7 cylinder 77cc radial? Bolts right in, looks awesome but runs on glow fuel. Saito FG84r3? Takes a bit of a mod to fit and the reviews on the motor have been less than stellar...

Faa is looking for total control with new bill!!!

I am about to drop some serious coin on a warbird, radial and the pieces parts to go with it. I sure and heck don't want the hobby to go tango uniform.

AKNick, You're correct. The there isn't a non-treaded 6" balloon tire. Only a treaded one. I was looking for a pair for a large cub I have. I went with the treaded ones and they work great, just don't look as cool as a true balloon tire.

    3drcforums visits aerobeez hq's

Saw an Aerobeez 20cc full fuse MXS-R maiden over the weekend. That was an awesome plane!

If there is a steady wind down the runway, It can get well up into the teens and I will still fly. Gusty winds and strong cross winds are more of a PIA and the decision to park the plane has to do with the direction the wind is coming from. North winds for us don't pose too much of a problem...

For me it is less about the temp and more about the wind chill. If it is cold and windy that is far more brutal to me than just cold.

I was leaning strongly towards the AeroWorks P-51 at one time but the reviews on it were not that good which caught me off guard as I personally have liked all of my AeroWorks planes. But the complaints looked legit so I scratched it from my list. In fact, I have scratched the P-51 from list...
