Well got the bottom belly pan on and the rudder. It is now starting to look like a plane.
1 shows the rudder done.
2 changed the rear of the belly pan and added a louvres to extract air, done this before and works really well.
3 at the landing gear did not close the gear in, in front. Left it open and added some aero-foiled aluminum tubing in the gap for support. Hope with being in negative pressure area it help pull out hot air from the engine.

Nice! Looking good.:way_to_go:

Needing a home for that" Shiny" thing I posted earlier @Snoopy1 and your Viper is tempting me and @Madinpensacola Viper ARF is tempting me but my wallet is not tempting me BECAUSE!!!.................

Your build is looking SWEET!!!:).

In truth I am now deciding on the Pilot 37% edge or the Viper ARF. :face-palm: Decisions Decisions!?!?!?!?

Spent some more time on my CHEAP HK plane and the CHEAP gyro.......Got to find that CHEAP software "Open Aero" to flash the board with. Some how the kk2 I got has been flashed for every conceivable "rotor" aircraft from helis to octo's. NO FRIGGING fixed wing!!!!!
I knew their was a reason I do not use gyros!!! PIA :gnashing:. But none the less I will march forward and get the software for the kk2 so it will gyro my Sbach to oblivion!!!!!!!:pink_epic:.

Look Ma ! it glows in the dark! 0324161813-00.jpg Gyro "sees" the radio! 0324161816-00.jpg Accelerators set for "level" 0324161819-00.jpg Not to worry I cant read it either! but is says all axis OK! 0324161820-00.jpg

Looks like I didn't get the order in soon enough so, now I am waiting until Monday for the module to be delivered. So far this is the only issue I have with the DS-14. A person would think that with the technology of the Jeti radios, that they would have the module building automated.

Speaking of "Flashing"...........That used to be a naughty term but technology changes everything :oblong:.

I will just fly and enjoy this little Sbach for the time being. It does fly really well with NO gyro. I did get a "box" built and installed to restore the structural rigidity in the area of the foam I had removed (not that the area was critical ). I have the USBasp flashing tool on its way and did find the software Open Aero to down load .
