Just make sure the antennae lead outs are 90 from each other. I have had excellent results with just the last 2 inches or so doing the 90 apart for smaller air frames. Excellent results with most of the lead outs at 90 apart too. Does not matter if the 90 apart is up down sideways etc etc. I have used small id tube to secure and make the 90 bend for the lead outs, Taped or heat shrink the lead outs to cut pieces of pop-cicle stick. Coffee stir sticks at the quick mart are free and good to use....

Hey Ken,

Just to elaborate on what Kelly said, go to your LHS and get a variety pack of heat shrink tubing. The pieces that are light blue work perfectly. Just super glue the tube to the fuse and thread the antenna lead through and presto, you're done. Remember, the exposed part at the end of each lead is the antenna. The black covered wire is just a coax cable to the receiver.

Ill take a picture of what i did with the jtec i am finishing up later and post it. I did the same setup on my little yak and it seemed to work fine. The weekend before last i put nine flights on it and it didnt take a dirt nap so all is good.lol

I've had this same debate in all my installs. I usually end up running one towards the front of the plane and holding it in place with some plastic tubing of sorts, and one heading to the rear of the plane secured with tubing as well. I try not to overthink it, but I do at times.

Some pics of different installs of mine.....A 35% gasser, Sixty size pattern, 50 size EPP foamy electric. All have 90 degree orientation. You can't see it but the pattern plane has the lower tube 90 degrees for the last 1.5 inches going straight down the side of the fuse (very narrow fuse) . All examples have excellent range and glitch free operation.
