Didn't make it to the shop because........

I'm tired of seeing all of these "what I did in my shop last night" posts because i'm too busy to get to the shop most nights!

So here's the thread where the rest of us can show off what we're doing instead of building and flying! A little sympathy would be appreciated!!

Been pulling the deck apart because the last owners sealed it tight with that thick paint they sell at Lowes and every time it rains we get a flood in the basement. Redid the flashing today and need to pull the rest of the boards off to get to replacing the decking. My wife basically read me the riot act last night saying I'd have hell to pay if I went to Florida for Top Gun and didn't get the deck done soon! That's because her grill is supposed to be where that big void on the right is!

So what are you guys up to lately? Any transmission rebuilds? Roof repairs? Moving cross country?

There are a million reasons to miss getting to the shop for a little rest and relaxation, let's see what's keeping you guys busy.

Wife and I picked five quarts of strawberries the other day so I made lots of jam today. No pictures of the huge mess I made though. Decided to make a double batch, huge mistake and it boiled over spilling hot sticky jam all over a red hot stove burner. Every smoke detector went off in the house and I had windows open for the next few hours as well as intensive clean up but I got it all done.

i meant for everyone to post manly stuff!

Nope, from wv. Had to go there for work.

Washing machine not working, get parts spend all day Saturday and part of Sunday to get it working. Still won't pull the soap from the dispenser, so it goes in the tub (LG HE machine). Dryer roller dies the next day, an hour on that. New fence put up after the storms knocked it over, so had to stain that (two days). Mowed lawn, turned sprinklers on, did other things around the house. Did get out to play golf at Chambers Bay (University Place, WA) with my older son.

I did not work on any planes tonight. I just got done with my build and I had to drop 2x 500 lb bombs and shoot 60 rds on the 30mm sorry, no inflight pics!
