Looking for sme advice from the brain trust

Thinking about a next airplane.

Leaning to the EF MXS 63

Can't go too big, has to fit in a medium sized suv.

Electric suggestions, while others make ICE work, I have not

I have solid precision and 3D skills, but view myself as a pilot who always has more to learn.

Thoughts, guidance, opinions?

Ok so if it was me I would look at the 73" AJ Laser or the smaller one which I think is a 52". Incredible airframe and an amazing performer! Look at the thread with videos Supatim did. I had a chance to fly it and Holy Crap I love that plane and you better believe I'm gonna get one! It was actually my plane but I wanted Tim to wring it out and show the community what it's capable of, but it bit the dust.... :-(

Supatim did mention it was his favorite plane and he has had and he's had two! Lol

I see you mentioned electric, he used a dle 35 and I'm a gasser head so Enterprise or @dh7 would be good resources for that. Sorry man!

Here's what aj-aircraft says for power but they don't go into which one to get just recommend setup.

Mine had a Hacker A60-8S on 12s 3300. AJ recommends the A60-5S on 8s. The 3 big A60s are the same motor with just different winds. I just sold my A60-7S which is the 10s version or a hot 12s.

I also have the 83 MXS and I like it more. It does not have any bad 3D habits like the AJ does. The AJ is better at precision.

Mine came back from SEFF in a trash bag due to it's tendency to snap in rapid pitch changes. I tested this some with my 56 afterwards and talked to some other owners. Just a byproduct of the high taper wing and AJs desire for good snap roll performance.

The plane flies very well and if you are not a person that loves walls, waterfalls, and KE spins, then you will never notice this. Realize I mainly fly EF stuff these days and I am just used to the way they fly and not used to having to feed lots of correction into a wall to hover.

Put lights on one of my small glow planes today. Will fly it tonight. Will get photos when I get a chance. Right now I have chicken to put on the smoker and a pork shoulder to smoke for a fun fly tomorrow. I'll tease y'all with photos of that too! And while all of the smoking is going on, my happy a$$ will be relaxing in the pool with a cold adult beverage. Ever have a frozen jack and coke? It is like a coke slurpee with jack. They are awesome! Gotta go!
