I can tell you that for me, watching him go from playing with die cast metal planes in his stroller while I flew my planes to flying better than me has been an incredible journey. I love the little guy and hope that he sticks with this hobby.

I think it's safe to say that he's finally surpassed his dad, but I'm planning a comeback!!

Thank you 3DMIKE for taking the video and posting it!

Patto, I know the feeling of your son surpassing you, many years ago I taught my son how to fly, (back in the glow fuel days) and now he out flys me with ease. I always enjoyed taking him with me wherever I was flying, it was great bonding and I have never felt closer to him than then. Now he lives all the way across the country from me and is raising his own family and when his son gets of age I hope that he passes the passion down to his son like my father teaching me how to fly line control and building kits back when I was a kid... Great stuff!! Have a blast with him and enjoy those times!!

Great day today. Took my 10 yr old grandson to the filed, setup a buddy box with my 50cc Yak 55 on low rates and let him fly orbits with it. He did great! I am sending him back to mom and dad with a transmitter and flight simulator software. This kid will probably out fly Gramps by the end of the year if he sticks with it! :peace:
