This really gives the hobby a bad name and some clubs are alot like this

My other club is sort of like that, just a bunch of old farts with bad attitudes . Absolutely no helicopters and heaven forbid you don't fly "the pattern"...

The AMA can encourage people to act like, well, like adults....and this certainly isn't what the AMA is all about. They try to steer clear of club politics though



I'll pass this to that district VP but as with any I know we are only seeing one side of the story here and we have no idea about the other.



Its definitely an unfortunate attitude though :(

That is too bad. Clubs should be happy to have more members that get out and fly now days.

When their club can no longer pay the rent on the places they fly, and they are wondering why there isn't anybody paying dues, maybe they'll remember this.



Fuel and fly... I guess they'd rather watch empty sky just like what's in this video...

Just wow. At my club they bust your ballz if you land just long enough to re-fuel or swap packs. The moment you land, someone is giving you crap about not flying! Total 180 of that place.



I too would like to hear the other side of the story....

We have inflight refueling at our field. You only come down if your batteries are dead and we are working on that too :)
