Just heard back from Kole Limitless Aero.

He's sending me a replacement cylinder, piston, ring, gasket, and redesigned clips. It's all shipping tomorrow. Awesome service as usual... And with the redesign, it shouldn't happen again.

Thanks Kole :)

Cool, that's awesome customer service!!! Those "G" clips are easy to install and remove....that's the bad part about them!

Can you post a pic of the new cir clips when you get them?

This thread has been quiet for some time, but I figured I would post an update. The pitts muffler on my GP-61 that I had in my 50cc Extra 330 SC from Red Wing RC failed in flight. The weld seam broke apart and half the muffler fell out onto the field.
I installed the stock muffler (side dump) on the GP-61 and it is running fine again. One of my very experienced friends told me that most pitts mufflers will eventually fail. I did not believe him then, but I do now!

Het Guys,

I'm trying to decide which 60cc single to put on my 92" AeroPlus Edge.

right now I am at GP61 vs DA60 vs EME60 vs DLE61.

I'm looking to keep the plane AUW as light as possible and stick the most power on the front of it that I can while keeping it light.

What say you all?

Thanks,

JC

Yes what he said. The gp61 is a power house, but is finicky and you seem to get a good one or a bad one. Fergus will take care of any issues you have 1000% though. That said every GP i have owned (2 -123s and 2 - 61s) have had to be serviced.... my da 150 has been in once in its 10 year life....

^^^^^^yup^^^^^^

I've had GP, DLE, DA.

I'm most happy with DA. My GP 61 had great power in the beginning, but the power kinda died off after 400 flights. It was also a B!t@# to start from day 1 to now...

My DA 120's are running like new after hundreds of hard freestyle flights. Always reliable. Quick. Start every time.

Ive had some really easy starts, some no starts.

i once had an easy start, great flight. next flight, i had to spin the prop 20 seconds on a starter...
