The new SU-29 from Twisted Hobbys

We had the pleasure of putting together and flying this wonderful new super-lite aircraft from Twisted Hobbys. This is being flown with Brad's new 14 gram motor and some 3S 360 mah packs. The prop is a GWS 8040 DD and all the servos are the super smooth digital servos from Twisted as well. This was a cinch to build. Didn't even look at a build manual until we were looking for the CG. Still have yet to add a click of trim. It was just right as it came off the build table. So, this vid is from last weekend. The outdoor footage is the maiden in the back yard and the indoor footage is from our last day of indoor for the season (Sunday). The plane is great indoors and out. It's a little more inclined to 3D than my Inferno and has some great precision characteristics as well. I am very impressed and thankful to have found my way into one of these. It's a rewarding build and will be a lot of fun to take with us to all the contests this year. Thanks for watching and checking it out. I'll leave it open to discussion from here. Thanks goes out to Brad, Cody, CDee, Benton, Joe and all our Twisted friends here. Take care!

Cool plane, the "Lite Series" like the crack lazer? On 3S that plane is ridiculous. I fly mine on 2s and it is wonderful. I have been deciding which new TH plane to build. This one is defiantly a candidate.

This is even lighter than the laser. It's in the Super-Lite series. Great roll rate for a super-lite aircraft. Very stylish looking plane as well!

Some great flying in that video, Aaron! You are getting better all the time :)

This new SU-29 looks really fun. Crispy response and that power system you were using was rocking it. That round cowl looks beautiful when you get those smooth rollers going. I just love it. Looking forward to some more videos!

Thanks so very much guys. Brad sent this new motor with the plane the day after he tested it and man, put just the right batts, prop and motor together on the plane and got just phenomenal results. This plane is really cool because of being light like my Inferno is but it has the power and throws to rock some real fun 3D flying. Building my MXS now. Everybody else has their MXS done already but I was trying to bring the SU29 to light first. Beautiful planes... I am blessed to be a part of this!

Thanks again for watching and for your supportiveness Gary and Joe! It means a lot to me and my Dad. :sunny:
