It was my pleasure Bobby, Well ran contest. I think going over some of the judging criteria should be done at every contest.
I agree. As you could tell, there were some that didn't understand the "beginning now" and what happens next criteria even after we discussed it!! Thank you for the compliment!!
 
UPDATE:

I have reweighed the airplane, just to give me a ball park idea, and this is what I have so far:

this is the weight, of the fuselage, covered, and with painted cowl and canopy. With the landing gear, with the wheels (no pants), with the CDI and motor installed, with stabs and rudder. Does not include fuel tank, batteries, wings, and the rudder and stabs are not covered yet.


To reach a target weight of 42 pounds, I have room for 6.7 pounds, which is impossible. (wings,servos, batteries, fuel tank).

The wings, I estimate, will at least be 3 pounds and 4 ounces (x2 = 6.5 pounds) with the servos.
