I've got a Dodge Journey now. With all the seats layed down I can fit my 35% in it. But I have to remove the Horizontal stabs. And I can't have any passengers.

I'm thinking about upgrading to a truck with a shell. That way I can still fit my planes but will have room for passengers.

This is what I have! I should build a removable shelf on top of the bed so I can stack better. But with a 6.5'bed and a super cab f150, equipped with a mid rise sport snugtop canopy... it works well for me. Kinda wish I had the true four door, but that usually sacrifices bed length, or just makes the truck too long for my taste.

Not sure I would like a 6.5' bed though. I'd like a true 8' bed with extend cab, but they are hard to find now days. I dont think I could fit my 35% in anything but an 8' bed. Its right around 8' or a little over. Maybe a 7' at an angle. Not sure though. I would hate to go to something and not be able to fit it. Or have to let it hang out the back.

I haven't weighed it but I would guess about 50#

Still like the idea 50 lbs is getting up there to man handle. Looking for a new vehicle right now and do not know what to get. Have a mini van and just tired of it would like to something different. Looking at trucks but they are all 6 1/2 ft boxes can not get my planes in it. Looking at the new Toyota Highlander not sure if the planes will fit into the Highlander. Does anyone know the biggest that I have right now is a stick 85 and a Viper st.

Be brave!

The white and gray Fords have the REALLY short beds and the blue S-10 is a 6 footer. The yellow and silver airplane is a 40% Sukhoi

Thanks for the reply, Jetpanter but when I just got started in the hobby went to a fun fly 4 hours away. Got caught in a ran storm at the field. By the time I got the plane in the truck and home even though I wrapped it as good as I could the plane was soaked and all the balsa wood warped and could see all the glue lines of the sheeting under the painted cloth, not a good experience. Since then been very hesitant to take a plane anywhere in an open vehicle.

please let me know. i run the 1283's.

Here is the skinny on 2S and Savox servos. I hooked them up to my 9 channel JETI rx and hooked up a 2S 4000mah lipo. I then set the servo test to on and let it cycle the servos for about 5 minutes with no load. After that 5 minutes I felt the servos and they were getting warmer than I thought they should be, not hot but, just didn't give me a warm fuzzy. I will repeat the test with the regulators and the CB200 and see if they get to the same temps.

The thing I worry about is when there is a load I think the temps are going to get quite a bit warmer and I just don't feel like taking a chance right now, not to mention that they will be going in a 40% Extra 330LX and I don't want to take a chance on losing it to a preventable cause.
