I like 'em "BIG"!
Hey Rob,

I thought you couldn't get the exhaust to work with a quad in your BIG Yak?
And just what makes you think the quad is for the Yak? Huh? Well? Ok, so...maaaaybe it is. Fact is, I talked to a very knowledgeable guru on setting them up. Seems I "allllmost" had it when I gave it the first attempt. So, We're gonna try it again. What the heck...if all else fails, stock muffs will work right? LOL.

Side Note: You pretty smart there brother.

Well started on the Sportster. The wing will be two piece and slide onto a tube. If some of the older flyers will remember the Sportster was one piece wing that bolted in from the bottom with four 1/4 plastic bolts, and the wheels in the wing. So the wheels will be in the fuselage. So the bottom of the fuselage will be filled in and the top opened up so that the wings can be bolted in and connected from the sides.
To install the OS 120 the firewall will need to moved back 1 5/8 on an inch and the spinner size increased from 2 1/2 to 3 inches. Still have to think about the wing and the wing tube.

We start projects and man do they grow fast into a major project and a lot of work. What has happened is I am trying to turn a 20 year old design into what I am use today. Do not like the gear in wings that is pain to handle and store. And I do like having the plane stand on the gear while installing the wings. So this simple Sportster build has turned into a complete rebuild of the fuselage. What have started. I am so far into the fuselage I have to continue. Only thing good about it it keeps me off the streets.

I believe tonite, Im going to take a couple of pics of some airplanes Im looking at selling. 5 35-42% aircraft is quite a bit to keep track of. Plus, I can only fly 1 at a time. Cut my airplane inventory back, free up a little do re mi's and stick that cabbage back in the bank.

Im torn on selling off either my Comp ARF MX2 or my Dalton 300. I am also looking at selling my EG Extra 330SC. I dont have many flights back on my MX2, since I bought new parts for it. And my Dalton is such a sweet groovin bird, Id hate not having it in the stable. But, I've only flown it a handful of times since it was repainted. It was my rebound "chick", so to say, when my baby Carden did a double flusher, for the 3rd time.

I really only need 1 35 and 1 40 to fly around. Keep the baby Carden for a special event flyer. Plus, I have the warbird, and looks like next year, Im gonna have a blower airplane (jet turbizzle).
