I'm kinda the same way. I rely more on what I see. My flying buddy is the only person I know uses 3W''s and he has never had any problems with any of his as long as I have been flying.

Why aren't you out flying today?

Idaho weather. Don't like it? Wait five minutes...it will change. Probably won't like the change either. Chilly, cloudy...the sky is spitting. Guess I'll start working on the Yak. "Again"! Lol. Sure wish my paint and clear coat for the Pitts was here. That girl would be maiden bound if it were.

Got out once good day but well over a week and 3 to 5 days still bad weather, cold and nothing but rain. I am moving south.

Don't stop at western Kansas. We had about 8 inches of snow last night. Kinda been crazy, been out of power all day.

WOW that is crazy I will live with the rain. That stuff you have shovel. I got a realy nice plane on skies I can lend you. But it take a while because just the other day I removed all the skies and the engine protection.

Well this was a weekend of all work and almost no play at all, even at the field!! I wanted to fly the Aerobeez 40% Extra again but she just refused to run (I believe I have an air leak in my fuel tubing, not a problem with the engine itself). After swapping ignitions and checking other stuff I finally just decided to put the airplane aside and break out the old reliable Pilot Yak.

I hammered that poor airplane, but it felt so good just to release for a little bit. I only got one flight on it since I think my ignition battery is going kaput but oh well.

I went out last Wed, with a new to me heli, a Logo 690 with Futaba servos, JR XG11, Mikado Edition 4525 370 kV, Mini V Bar, Talon 120 with fan and 12S OptiPower 30C 5000s. I'd like to find a VControl at a good, inexpensive price. Hoping soon, to get the fuel powered airplanes out and going...... Hope I can get some of my RC mojo going again.

Glad to here you got some time in. I moved a helicopter out of my way last night. That's as close to flying one as I've come so far this year.
