Lots of folks seem to be finishing out the inside of this plane and I really like the look of a clean install... so, here's what the inside will look like on mine. I still have a few pieces to cover and finish, but you get the idea.

Thanks! I really like the clean look :)

got a little more done this morning... the covered trays are bolted in, fuel dot mount and fuel tank system is done, batteries are installed, all servo connections are finished, programming is close to finished on everything but ailerons....

I installed a tank and fuel dot for smoke but haven't installed/plumbed that side yet. I'll probably just fly it a while before doing smoke.

I'll finished the electronics then start on the cowl, spinner and prop.

That wolverine switch is pretty sweet, almost pulled the trigger on one twice. Is the charge port set up for balance charging the A123? I thought they were just a two prong style.
is it just me or is the fuel line a little short to your fill port? Looks pretty nice by the way, love the CF. I figured I would rather want the line exiting the airframe in case it dribbles out... I'm a messy re-fueler LOL
What's up with the banged out 45 degree supports under the turtle deck?
What's your plan for a smoke pump?

Man, you don't miss anything! :).

The switch is awesome... it works and looks great. It has 2 inputs and 2 outputs. (2 for the receiver and 2 for the switch). You can order it with different connectors if you use something different than the deans. You can't balance charge through the switch though, I do that directly through the battery balance port.

On the fuel dot, the fuel line is connected to the body, not the cap. So when you take the cap off, the fuel line doesn't move at all. It would definitely be too short for the more common fuel dots where the line is connected to the cap, this one just isn't made that way. And I hear you on fueling/defuelong...I'll be sure to be careful. I don't really want to get fuel everywhere in the plane :/.

I broke the 45 degree wood supports out when I installed the covered tray the first time... it was my fault :/. I'll clean it up before the first flight.

I have 2 Harris smoke pumps right now that are just sitting in a drawer... mainly, im waiting to install the smoke stuff because I'm just being lazy and I want to fly this thing!

ha ha NOPE!
My Slick has a dual miracle switch I need to replace for good measure, not sure which route to go quite yet.
Gotcha - those are fuel PORTS! brand?? I like this concept!
I have a TME that's been sitting around for a while, would like to invest in a PowerBox and ditch the check valve. They seem nice.

Exactly... here's a better picture of the fuel dot. No idea what the brand is. I just happened to find these 2 in a drawer.

The powerbox pump is a good one. I've had buddies use them with lots of success. Personally, I've never had any issues with a standard pump and check valve.

I got the cowl trial fitted to see how well the spinner lines up... very happy to report that the spinner gap is perfect and the alignment is near perfect.

I also tested the ibec with the shop lights off... its unfortunate that the light is green. If anyone has a blue one and wants to trade, I'm in https://www.GiantScaleNews.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif
