Damn I'm hungry
Finally got a couple in on the 26cc Edge. Plenty of power for 3D with 11 pound airframe.....It's a hoot to fly! :).

Well I wanted to go flying... attempted to tune the DA35 with no prevail.:( I failed to properly tune the engine, being fairly upset that I could not get a reliable idle or transition. I used terry's guide and DA's guide. Kinda wondering if I have something in the carb to be honest , weird that it would do it the day I switched to 40:1... hmmmm. pretty disappointed in myself. :( it was a blue clear sky day with no one else flying, couple hours before work, no wind, and a forecast full of rain. :cryin: Time to go back to engine tuning school I guess, not sure why it always seems to be me with the issues lately.
To make me feel worse I sucked up a rock and it took a chunk out of my carbon prop.

Sorry for your woe. But we all have them "Charlie Brown" days. Something to do is... be sure your fuel system has no air leaks/restrictions and your plug is getting a good hot spark. If you know these things are good then best to just send it to DA. That's what their there for.
Let them put a smile back on your face :).

Well there I was goofing off above a little pond with a little drone filming me. I did a tight loop and he missed it, so I did it again... whoopsy!! I tangled with the pond and the pond won fair and square,I think I whipped the air molecules a little too thin. Belly flopped on the water, in the process of removing covering and drying it out.
Part of me wants to rebuild it and the other greedy half of me says get a new airframe. Too bad they don't sell the 71" AJ Slick anymore.... maybe a 74" edge would be the replacement if I go that route. It's a pretty tired airframe.

When in doubt, buy a new Edge! You won't regret it.:)

I totally get what your thinking and completely "feel" what you are saying. It's like, "dayyyymn, now I have to get a new airframe"! "Oh darn"! LOL. Got a couple of suggestions that will help you out. Or confuse you even more.

Slicks fly really....hu, hum....."SLICK"! I've heard the new 580 is a ball busting wail of a good time flying plane.
OR......

Ever since I have been paying closer to Rob Holland, I have fallen in love with the MXS. I would really love to have a 40 center.
So there ya go....just get a new airframe. Go 'head....you know you want to.

(I'm so evil) LOL

The weather guessers (meteorologists) missed it again today, the forecasted 7 mph wind for this morning was actually 17. Most of the Sunday diehards were there anyway, though I think we did more jaw flapping than flying.
I did get one flight on Miss Moana. I need to lean it out a tad, but it ran awesome other than being a bit rich on the top end.

Curious what plane that is next to Miss Moana. I haven't really like the Breitling scheme from past photos. But this one has a little bit of a "snap" to it. Right "sharp" looking. Maybe it is the plane?!?! It's an Edge, right? But who's????
