Congrats Kelly! Well done! Very happy to hear it went without a hitch and back to fight another day. Still think it was that badass “arbor press” you used on the rebuild of the DL 50 that did the trick! ;) Might have to send you some engines to rebuild! :banana-dance:

:woohoo!: That was 2 successful flights, congratulations on the engine and the build both were a success. The flights looked good. Just need to get the CG right and it will be a good reliable plane. Now hopefully the weather holds for you so that you can burn as much fuel as possible enjoy it.:dancing-chicken:

Thanks so much. Really appreciate your support. Here are some pics you can scroll and see that it's really more a stab incidence issue over CG.

The only reason I like to video a plane now is to use it as a tool to see what's going on while the plane is flying. This plane has a super huge elevator and in the pics of the landing attempt you can see that the stab and elevator are in a completely stalled state even with the elevator deflection for a flare. Main wing was stalled or starting to allowing the undercarriage to absorb the landing force and then spring back forcing the nose up and having to immediately apply power. The stab incidence at the LE is set too high or "positive" rendering the elevator useless even though it is a huge one. Proof is in the pictures......

Here are full images so you can better see the elevator deflection......

:on_the_go: Looked at the video again that is one good flying plane but I cannot believe the length of your runway. It is long enough so that you could land an aeroplane at full throttle...?.....?
