Scale Plans built P-51

All this talk of building Mustangs is really getting me worked up. Oh how I love them 'Stangs. Hence, Stangflyer I am. Ok, letting the cat out of the bag a little early. But this has been my favorite since they were introduced a score or so years ago. Yes, only a replica and only .75 (3/4 scale), but totally bad to the bone through and through all the same.

I will provide a detailed list of attributes and complete information when I do my build thread. But for now, just the photo of the scheme I intend to do.

I figure if my friend can have a Kolm 240 cc four cylinder for his Exclusiv Modellbau Eagle, I deserve to have a Kolm for my Thunder Mustang.

Hey Buddy,

If you're going to do a Reno Racer, you REALLY need to do either Miss America or the older purple VooDoo scheme. A Kolm 3 cylinder would be just the ticket for your BIG Stang. . . . . . :yesss:. . . . . . ..

I have a 1/6 scale Top Flite that will be in one of those two schemes if I don't sell the kit first. A Kolm single would be bad azz in that thing too. . . . :big_yes:

The Thunder Mustang was not a Reno racer. It was designed as a civilian sport aircraft.

I think you deserve a Kolm. I'm a poor retired teacher so mine has a DLE 85. But, who knows??

your putting pressure on me but on the other hand they are not my plans, so I can say they are the most scale outhere, as far as I am concerned
So do you want a copy , what is your email.
I'd love to see these plans as well. George's plans are better than average, and my plane is 75% complete, maybe more. But, if I had a digital set that I could scale, I'd like to reduce it to about 82"ws so I could power it with a strong 30cc.
