No ABS, everything is either plywood or balsa. Wheel pants and cowl are built up balsa. I am probably going to use an old set of plastic wheel pants and order a fiberglass cowl.

I never answered your question, I'll PM you.

Damn I'm hungry
Zooming right along :on_the_go:. Do you think a 40 twin would be a bit much??? My Cub weighs 16 pounds and a 26cc motor going to haul it fine.

Top view is on the bench now and ready for the sides to be laid into place. The directions don't say to build it upside down but there's no other way to get that second bulkhead into place if it's rightside up!

The second bulkhead is provided as a solid 1/4 plywood piece. I cut a bunch out of the middle and probably could have removed a lot more. I might still drill a bunch of holes in it.

And here she is with the first few parts in place. I have to lift it off the bench tomorrow and adjust the spacing of the sides where they are pinned in place to match the spacing where the gear attach plate is now glued into place. the top and bottom are off by about 3/32".

It's funny, I repaired my friend's H9 1/4 scale Super Cub firewall and have been working on other projects so getting another kit started just seemed like the natural thing to do. It's so relaxing gluing sticks together, I missed it and didn't even realize it!
