I like 'em "BIG"!
Hello gents.... I am so sorry my absence has been so long. I could use many excuses like....um I went to Bermuda and decided to stay. Yeah, that wouldn't work cuz they aint got no redheads down there. LOL. Truth is, Along with being "LITERALLY" slammed at work....(between 65-70 hours per week) and trying to get things done here, My laptop up and died. As Kelly has mentioned. As if that isn't bad enough, my desk top also took a crap. Hard drive in the laptop and power supply with the desktop. Oh sure, I could use my phone...not so much. However thankfully, the new laptop arrived today. What a machine. Wow.... Anyway, all my photos are on my other laptop. As soon as I figure out a way to get them off the failing hard drive, I will get everything situated and updated. I truly have made some progress on some projects. Yes!

Now as for the 3w news. I almost sliced my wrists...but then remembered I hate knives. So I went to looking for a long rope. Found one, but nothing to sling it over. Next, I decided I would just simply jump in front of a "VERY" fast moving car. But decided not to as my luck would allow for me to live and be a "VEG" the rest of my life. How sad would it be to live and not be able to fly? I decided to tough it out. As it turns out, 3w is simply doing a restructuring of the model engine side of the company.

Whew, glad I decided to stick it out.

Snoop....I have not yet decided on a radio. But truthfully, I am looking very seriously at the Graupner MZ32. The DX20 is also on my list. I am going to hold off until I see what the MZ 32 does upon release. For now, the outdated yet trusty Hitec Aurora A9x is still performing flawlessly.

I will try to get some updates soon. Plus I see there are plenty of new posts that I have yet to catch up on. Whoo hoo....lots going on. Time for coffee....(lots of it) and time with the family here at home. Giant Scale News....that's home.

Hi @stangflyer how are things good to see you are back with with us missed you. Good hear that 3W will still be around, I new you would have all the details about what was happening. So they will still have 3W engines for the hobby. And parts.
Still looking at radios but was seriously looking into The MZ32 and love everything about it, but when it comes to receivers not so good. Expensive and no power receivers all of them are powered by a single JR plug. This means either multiple receivers and or some sort of power box which I do no not want to do to many parts and jumper wires. Every connection could be a problem and voltage loss. And they only have up to 12 channel. I just might have to go to the dark side and take a long look at a Jeti. It does seem to have all the bases covered and they have come out with a new software package for updates and the likes that seems to be very friendly.
