Damn I'm hungry
Great day for me too :). Cap 232's motor was spinning zippy stupid power (got it back from Flex) and the Maiden on my Avanti S. went without a hitch, glitch, FOD,, or other anomaly :woohoo!:

I put a few flights on my 35% Extra 300X today. It was a good day for flying, even though it was humid as balls in the morning. I was pretty well done and about to pack up around noon when we started having some weird issues at the field. One guy crashed a small fast pylon racing foamie when he lost all control of the airplane. A few minutes later two guys were getting hits at the same time but managed to get them on the ground in one piece. One of the guys was flying an old JR on 72 mhz, one guy was flying Futaba, and one Spektrum. The guy with the Spektrum had Telemetry and the flight log showed over 1200 counts of Frame Loss.

Must have been a solar flare. :p

Odd indeed. I never heard of 72 Mhz giving problems to 2.4ghz although they do have more power output at the antennae (72Mhz).
Was the 72 running PCM mode?

I don't think the old radio was interfering with the 2.4, I think they were both getting hit from a separate source. Or so it seemed.

It must be nice to have a asphalt run way like that it must open up your scope to a lot of planes. We only have grass and those small wheels and retracts will be dead in no time. You won’t even get off the field. Like the new jet looks like a lot of fun.

The weather cleared up at around noon and the wind went to zero and blue skies. Well that’s all I needed of to field had a great afternoon flying and the Stick with DA150 just keeps getting better, love the engine. Just hope when I get more time on it, it will stop spitting these tiny little black prophets of oil all over the bottom of the plane, it is painful to clean on a painted plane.
