You know what the amount of maintenance my fleet is requiring lately is more than I have ever have had to do maybe I am flying to much. Had to fix the stick landing gear twice, then rebuild the engine on the Decathlon and now need to replace the hinges on the rudder for the Pro60 profile plane and will redone the landing gear on the 50cc profile pealing off the rubber on the wheels. This is becoming a full time job.

I grew up stick shift and love them, can drive most without using the clutch after takeoff. But in a city of 6 million stick shift isn't a good idea.
You know when I think back when I was 18 and driving with manual that there was no traffic jams and standing on the highway for hours trying to get some where. Compare to today. If had to live in Toronto which is a city of 5 million and you are stop and go the minute you get onto the road I would probably have at least one small commuter car that was an automatic because driving in Toronto is hell.

Towerhobbies just informed me that the Top Flight P-40E Kit has been deleted off my wishlist (been there forever!) :( one day I'll build my favorite warbird lol! ARF is still available though.

Worked on my Tech-Aero 3D printed holder design some more. Workin on version 1.9 now...

I have a P-40E kit in my hobby room sitting in the box... if you ever want to scratch that itch, let me know. I may never get to it and could sent it your way.

Thanks for the offer, I will pass for now though. I always tell myself never to make a complicated airframe with retracts because I tend to spend more time working on retracts than actually flying. Unlike most people I only get a short window to fly due to a shared use field. Electric and 3D planes are great for that, gas up and go!

Hey @Snoopy1 on a plane that size you will be fine with CA hinges just get yourself Radio South CA hinges as all others are junk after you use radio south ones once.
Tried to order the CA hinges from radio south looked good and filled in all the required info and then found out that the shipping to Canada was 36 bucks, are they nuts that 10 times the price of the hinges. Love to have tried them but at that cost will have think of another way. Anyway @BalsaDust thanks for the help appreciated.

I've been working on my Hangar Extra. I straightened the landing gear and repaired a few cracked pieces of wood near where it mounts. I spent one night just cleaning off the clear adhesive silicone that I used on the landing gear cuffs. Man that stuff was stuck! I still haven't ordered a new spinner or prop yet. Tomorrow I'm planning on fixing the cracks on the cowl and one cuff.

Tonight I've been doing maintenance on my Pilot Edge. Mainly just cleaning and ironing covering for the 500th time, but some of the covering is getting beyond ironing.

No argument here.......When I went to remove the exhaust chest on the Extra I had to tear and peel some of it off first. Then had to use a Exacto blade to shave the rest of the material off and then sand clean both airframe and canister stinger.

The end result did turn out decent. And yes I did use a dab of the ultra grey when I installed the exhaust deflector o_O.

The way the cuffs are made on this Extra you use the silicone to glue them to the fuselage, not the gear like some. So cleaning it off Ultracote was like doing surgery.
