You do not have an electric starter that will swing that engine. Or just give it small hit with some either that will help you. ( not to much) that will save your arm, give it a try.
I would quit flying gas before I would use an electric starter on a gasser bigger than a 20cc.

That's kind of a thing for me, we have a few guys at our field that can't make a gasser run if they're lives depended on it and they use starters on them all the time and still can't get them started.

I could richen the low end and it would start fine, but then the transition turns to crap. I'll suck it up and flip.

I hate to say it but if my gas motors won’t start by hand I will work on them until they do if not get rid of it. But I have to say my glow I do use a starter.

Well when you guys that say you won't, ever get to the point where your shoulder would hurt enough to tear you up, you would use a starter. I do and that is why. Besides, just because you don't think it is needed or necessary that is only your opinion and it may differ from others. So why post your opinion in a way that tends to belittle others.

I certainly didn't mean to belittle anyone. We all have our little idiosyncrasies, and things that annoy us, and I guess two things for me are no wheel pants, (I am the self appointed GSN wheel pant Nazi) and starters on gas engines.
If someone is physically incapable of flipping one, that is entirely different than not being able to tune one good enough to start by hand. Believe me, I personally fully understand physical problems stopping you from doing things you love.

I apologize if I offended you that was not my intention.

You guys did not offend me. And I probably posted that because I had a day full of dealing with people that think their way is the only way and everyone else is wrong. Probably should not visit the threads when in that mood. LOL!!

I absolutely understand that one. Dealt with airline “people” yesterday and didn’t get home last night as planned. Another night in a hotel and early flight this morning - but HOME!

And when I arrived home, this was waiting. Postman left a box from Jersey Modeler.
Definitely a Yippee moment!
