I like 'em "BIG"!
Here is a video of trying start my GP61 last Sunday for the second flight of the day. It only took 29 flips.:lol2:

I took this with my Mobius camera attached to the bottom of the bill of my hat so it's not great.

Sorry to say but that I could not live with. I do not have the answer on what to change but the only thing that I could do is to install it on my engine test stand and mess with it until I found something that worked.

I've been waiting to get my Hangar 9 Extra back in the air before I take the Edge apart. I don't want to miss any good flying days. The parts for the Extra should be here in a couple days.

Annual Giant Scale event this weekend at my local field. Planned to take Python with me. Unfortunately the weather doesn’t look cooperative. Big dark green patch predicted to be here on Saturday.

Damn I'm hungry
I've been waiting to get my Hangar 9 Extra back in the air before I take the Edge apart. I don't want to miss any good flying days. The parts for the Extra should be here in a couple days.

Doug two things come to mind because my new DJ72 was doing the same thing. First the canister may be a bit to small for the GP and second (because of the canister) the L needle may need to be richened a tad. I am running a 50-60 size canister and it is restricting the air flow through the engine. I can only get 6300 rpm with it. My problem is I can't fit a larger 80cc canister in my plane. Both the GP61 and DJ72 are known to do much better with larger canisters. Now keep in mind I don't think the problem would show itself as bad in cool dry weather but we both are facing some really hot muck this year and any thing associated with the tune will show itself more so.

Have not been able to catch a break this summer :cryin:. My last 4 attempts to get wheels up meet me head on with heavy afternoon T-storms. Just like today. And yes it is pouring outside as I type this :ugh:. I hear the roar of thunder and not my engine :dancing-poop:.

So I kept my word Kelly. I put in three flights on the newly renovated 330. I have to say, she just keeps looking so sexy every time I take her out. I just couldn't resist. That beautiful redhead asked me out on a date and I just couldn't say no. I changed out the power up system in her last night and very pleased to say I like the new setup. So much so, every plane I have will get the new update.
