Scale Don Smith P-51 Mustang

I like 'em "BIG"!
So you guys did this. I blame you. And "YOU" know who you are. LOL. It may take a while, but I as much as I love my 3w engines, I just really think the DS Mustang would not be a Mustang with a two stroke engine. That being said, I am also equally certain the other beast "dub" powered planes will not be offended if I change things up and go with a different engine choice. I am pretty certain the Behemoth Stang will be sporting a 150 (3) Kolm. At 4700.00, it is just not that far out of reach.

Probably be next year before I can get one coming. But the fuse needs to be at least framed up. Minus engine firewall before I go putting the proverbial cart ahead of the horse.

Damn I'm hungry
That's what I would do. I would even sell off something to make it happen If that's what it took. GOT to have the SOUND in a big war bird.
That way all the major senses are "properly" stimulated :big-grin:.

And if a "non military" scheme does strike your fancy the "Rockwell International" always caught my eye. I would do the lettering in chrome however.

Wow, it's been so long since I've seen that I think I've blocked it out of my mind. That's as criminal as the pink one.;)

Nothing worse, and I mean nothing worse, that a well made warbird with a single cylinder sticking out from the bottom. I would switch sexual preferences before I powered a 2 or 3 year warbird project with a single cylinder.
