I think I just made a huge mistake yesterday fellas... :oblong::confused::eek::eek::eek:

The LTS (Local Train Store) was having a 20% off sale on Piko trains, so I picked up this starter set and an additional hopper car (silver) for a steal. Unfortunately their store was listed for sale, along with the business, so it may not be long before they go under. They've been around as long as I can remember :(

You had beter go back and buy what ever you need as soon as possible. You are not going to get a better deal right now from what you have explained.

Piko was being offered at 20% off because the USA distribution for Piko is local. Might go pick another car up this week or next, and possibly some track.

Technically a third of it does. The layout belonged to my friend Carl and when he passed away he left it to three of us. The other two guys are friends, but we have totally different ideas on how to deal with it and I'm always the odd man out. I've some what washed my hands of it for the most part, for now any way, but I think they will eventually come around to my way of thinking.

I like 'em "BIG"!
After work this evening I did a little runup test on the RCGF 20CC on the Blue Nose Stang. She runs pretty good for a brand new engine. I might need to tweak the needles a tad more, but I'll wait till she breaks in a little more. I did check all attitudes while it was running too. No stalling and nose straight up she will pull herself free from my hands. Not too shabby for just shy of 11 pounds. I also have the ailerons and flaps connected and dialed in. It's time for runway scraffin' boys. Tomorrow the lil Stang goes out on patrol. Looking for them boggies.
