NEW Hitec Servo! HS-488HB

stangflyer

I like 'em "BIG"!
I think it's a bold move for them. Universal servo teeth means anyone who has MKS, ProModeler, Savox, Futaba, ect can switch to the mighty Hitec without getting a different servo arm. The D series is a splendid update to say the least.
I absolutely agree with you. Back in the day, the 645 was a very pleasing servo for my son and I. Then it became the 5645. We bought those by the truck load. Now look at what we have. A programmable digital, high torque, high voltage metal geared 25 tooth spline ultra precise economically priced (under 40 bucks) servo. Ain't technology great?

Oh I know, we’re just confirming amongst ourselves it appears hitec is moving towards the 25T

With all of our digital servos, yes. The HS-488HB was a specific request by Servo City, otherwise the analog line will stay at 24T.

Also I should point out that with this new servo, the horns are going to be black in color for ALL of our product lines from here on out. No more lame white nylon horns :D

If I need a servo it's going to be Servo city and Hitec. The 9380th is a crazy good servo. I've got 645's, 5645's, 7955's, 9380's, all from servo city.

I have a lot of expensive cnc servo arms with 24T. If I want to use these servos I have to purchase 25T? Bummer!
