HEY!..GET OUTTA MY TREE!
Damn....not much room in that wing! Another thought would be to mount the servo to the hatch cover itself....but then that has to be re-engineered to handle the loads. Would probably require new covers and of course mounts for it.

The wing is thinner than the stab and elevators which sure makes it a challenge to say the least.;)

Just for your enjoyment, here are the Krill instructions/pictures for installing the aileron servos. Yes, that's two sided tape, and the servo shaped part is hard foam.o_O

So that is what they recommend to mount a servo in the wing for a 120cc plane. How many oz servo do they recommend for the ailerons. Do not think it is something that I would do. looking at it again how is the cover held on do not see anything to screw to.

The ones I'm installing are 400 ounce.
There is nothing to mount the cover to, plus no instructions. I figure they're using two sided tape.

That is a lot of servo for just some two sided tape. I agree with you it needs to done a hole lot better than they recommend. One thing I do know about the plane it does fly very well when I was at JoeNall this year Chief had one all put together and was demonstrating it. 3D was ok but the it flew really fast and like a pattern plane., I really liked it took real long look at an Orange coloured one in there tent but at the time I needed a engine so passed up on the plane.

I like 'em "BIG"!
The two sided tape servo install method was one of the biggest turn offs for me. Imagine that servo "walking" back and forth with excessive force? Or is it really that robust and sound?
