Myself taking a break from building during winter months. All year long I design, and build such as the P40 and the Mig3. I have plans for some new projects for 2019 as there are the Corsair and the Mustang. However, I do not completely shut down the shop during winter, but I do not work in there every day either. Winter also allows me to sit back and do research on future projects, and ordering inventory for the next season.

@acerc ,
I hear ya Buddy. Since Roger is almost finished with his AWESOME monster Dalotel and Rob hasn't started putting glue to wood on his monster Stang, there haven't been too many build threads to follow. That nasty four letter word called "work" and the lack of heat in my shop are limiting my ability to get anything done. . . . . :ugh!:.
No excuse other than not making a decision on what to build.
Have plans for a Bates 1/5 scale Mustang, but can’t decide on it, a 1/4 scale Mustang, or 1/5 scale Bearcat.
Always wanted a Carden since Dennis started his business in south FL.
Or maybe a big biplane?

Decisions...decisions....
Hey Wade,
Great minds think alike. You have the same wish list I do.. . . . . . :yesss:. I'd die to get my hands on a 35% Carden Extra 260 kit. I have one of Dennis's old 50cc Extra 300L kits that I want to get to one day, so I guess that'll have to do. If you want to build a big Mustang, there's a gentleman over on RCSB who offers a 1/4 scale laser cut P-51 kit that is very scale. I'd also really like to find a large Waco kit to build. I know @acerc remembers the one that was built on RCUniverse. That thing was AWESOME. I believe AMR in Canada still sells both a 1/4 scale and 1/3 scale Waco kit, but they ain't cheap. The guy at AMR was working on a 50cc Waco kit quite a few years ago, but it went by the wayside when they started expanding their business and selling ARF's engines and other stuff. . . . . :frown:

My Cub build will kick into high gear now that flying season is limited.
David,
You are doing an awesome job on your big Cub too. I cannot wait for more progress. I've been following along over on RCSB.

Will have a 2m pattern plane build coming soon... Cadence with a DA 35. Bought the plans for it. Really well though out. Some changes to the fuse construction is planned which is slowing the start. Love to build!
Paul,
Go ahead and do a thread on your Cadence. You'll have at least 1 loyal follower, I promise. . . . . . :big_yes:.

Thanks David. Don’t know if I’ve seen that one, but I’ll head over and take a look.

I don't think AMR sell's the Barth line up any longer, but Vogelsang does. Vogelsang also has the Fisher Mustang, want an extremely nice and big Mustang, go get on the list for the last run. Just give your card number but don't ask to know.
