That is unless someone wants to fund this. It’s one four stroke that would fit other than having to probably relocate the firewall further back.

90cc engine turning a 16-18 inch prop. Not a real power house there but I guess it would be great for scale WWI Bipe. Price point is a bit high IMO. I thought maybe an ASP 400 radial gas conversion would be nice until I saw the price  1200.00! Those china motors used to be only 300.00 in glow o_O as an OS knock off.

Exactly. It have the cool factor and what I saw somewhere else it was still turning a 20" prop but I cant justify the price.

After glassing the wing of a GS TF P-47 ARC, I found out the Sierra retracts don't fit:):):) So I guess I will have to remove the mounting plate every time I want to work on the retract!

Nick, it won't let me do that....I need a big RED X:):)

I bought this bird about 6 months ago and have only started working on it since Mid-January. The fuselage has more dips and flat sides than I can count. Trying to round it out with Bondo Spot Putty. I do have a problem with its color....I want it to be silver AKA full scale-like, but not going to use that Flite Metal - type of material. I want to paint this bird.

Looks like you have your work cut for you. War birds are a lot of work. All I can say once the plane is done and flying the one thing that will require more maintenance than anything will be the retracts, so make sure you can get to them and work on them.

Made some better hold down bracket's for my "Hanger/Hauler". Nuts hold the end of the wheel axel's to the bracket for a most secure fit. They also hold the wheels slightly off the wood cross members so no compression set on the tires :). Got some stickers on their way for the Pilot Extra. Very close to a re- Maiden. Probably shortly after my iX12 orange arrives.
