Heck yes, it looks fantastic! Seems like a lot of room up front. You may even play with the idea of a starter for your power plant!

Got my floats from Mark at seaplane supply!

Funny I was just thinking about a set of his floats! I skipped over the floats in this post, because I was thinking my hollow fiberglass floats would be fine.... Mark makes fun of the EXACT ones I have from Great Planes. HA HA. So now I must buy his product LOL
Are you going to bag them or just traditional drape method?

Well got my 70 twin mounted and cowl on..with the angled plugs it puts them below the big blisters on cowl..with straight plugs she might have fit but still thinking I'd need cutouts on cowl. So caps and plugs need pulled to easily get cowl on off..I did get cowl off with the plugs in but it scraps and not worth it..the kit should include a 4.5 inch spinner.4 inch is to small. Right where that green tape is on top of cowl the starter is right there. Just fit.. Anyhow getting there..

Making good progress, looks like a nice fit. Did not realize how much of an angle the plugs are facing down. ‘‘It’s on the bottom so it is not that visible. That starter motor is close fit but it works and that is all that counts.

Did you have to fit the engine a bit lower on the firewall to get the cowl over the starter motor?
