Damn I'm hungry
Just some "parting" shots. I'm "Cub'd" out now :brian-banana:. Flew it yesterday morning and it's a different plane :). Behaves much better.
So unless I perfect the "dirt nap" my shop is open to new business :cautious:.

It looks like new again. Did you get the wing sealed up and did it help.

I did not use the flexseal. Two coats (used about 75% of the rustoleum paint) of paint did the trick. It stalls nice and clean now with the nose dropping slightly :). It tracks solid and is very stable thanks to the Aura 8. Landing is fun again :D.

Made a second marking gauge over the past few days. I determined with the first one that the rod used was too big and I also didn’t like having to screw it in place as it took away from the looks. On this one I did a counter bore in the handle and it’s a nice press fit so it all just holds itself together without the need of any mechanical fasteners other than the set screw needed to lock the movable shaft in place. Also countersunk the end of the brass so that when not in use the delicate edge of the blade was recessed in with no fear of damage
