Worked on some G10 sheet with a hacksaw, dremel, and belt sander. Made me some Fowler flaps for the otter, not much materieal for them to grab onto, so that will be challenging. But at least I’m making some sort of headway.... can’t steer a parked car after all.

Do you not belive that you could have printed them with your 3 D printer, and if not why all our pin hinges are plastic.

Could have for sure. Maybe it's just me being lazy. Takes time to draw it up, and I haven't tried to epoxy PLA plastic before. Most plastic control horns are nylon I believe and they flex easier than PLA, so If I were to try to attach it like a conventional control corn, I'm pretty sure it wouldn't thread into the back half. I could have made an intermediate flap and improved my primitive geometry utilizing my 3D printer. It just would have taken a lot of time... It's hard enough trying to get it going the way it is! HA! It's the one part of building that consumes my time. . . overthinking. I would have almost rather left it alone than ventured down this road... but nope! not me!!! And now that it's a prime candidate for my light system AH!!!!!

It is difficult to get a nice even coat, but I use taillight tint from an automotive store. It works well but I keep making it to dark to many coats. Always looking at it in the shop through a light instead of on the plane.
