Starting to play with the interior a bit more.
Made a hardwood mount for my receivers and painted them black.

Laying out everything to see where to put it all. It’s actually pretty fluent and lots of space. Not used to that!!

Still workin on wiring. Mainly with the AR digital switch.
So check this out! Skywing does it once again!
There is an EC3 plug port you can use as a hardmount to plug your batteries into. I don’t use EC3 plugs... because I’m stubborn... using XT60s, so I modified it a bit with a file and dremel. It won’t push down, but can come up, so I’m going to glue them in.

Also. I’m going to mount the ignition mount on the firewall and because I’m crazy... I designed a 3DP mount for it in a couple days. Hopefully I won’t have to revise it too much as the plane is very close.

Very cool. I’m with you on the XT60s. So much easier to solder up than the EC3s. Same for the XT90s vs EC5s. I hate trying to hammer the bullet connectors in after soldering the EC3s and 5s.

Working on the cowl a bit. Slapped the mufflers on and cut some exit holes for them. With the bottom of the cowl touching the firewall, I pivoted it up until the front cyl muff touches. Mark with a pencil and let the dremel do the rest. A lot of on and off, but super easy with how big this thing is.

Front cylinder muff exits in the back just above flush.
The other muff... half the muff is still in the cowl.

Thoughts??

I think I'd try to find some exhaust extensions. Otherwise you're going to have one hell of a mess inside the cowl.

Maybe like one of these.

Or these. Which ever fits.
