Oh loooooook…!!! TOYS!!! I love the postman today.

New L80 canisters (2), gaskets and not pictured, new headers for the Beast 157cs. She has been a little down on power the last couple of flights. I swapped out the cans for new L90's. Ummm, pretty sure she don't like them. So back to a new set of 80's. And I figured what the heck, I am going to re-gasket the entire engine. I see one cylinder gasket starting to seep. So might as well take care of it now before it becomes an issue as was the case a couple of years ago. I am pretty sure I can't get lucky like that twice in a row. LOL

Today, this very cool four stroker showed up to the door. Hmm.... What the heck will I use this on? Oh wait...how about a Yellow Aircraft Spitfire? Yeah...that's the ticket. :way_to_go: I am really excited to start the build on that bad boy. It should be fun. But in the meantime.... enter stage left eviiiiiin…..! (Snagglepuss) Heavens to murgatroyd, it's a twin.

NO NO NO...David, you can not have my red headed jugs..... Just cuz I gotz some fo stroke twin power and some fo stroke tri power doesn't mean I am jumping ship. It just means I am....heh heh.....vers-a-tile...…. LOL

You really getting into four stroke engines. Looks like another nice one but it doesn’t look like a Kolm engine but any four stroke they all sound good. To the beat of my knowledge 3W does not build a four stroke.

I like 'em "BIG"!

I I'm sure you are correct. I have never seen a 3w 4-stroke. Too bad! I would own them all. LOL

After my last episode with my 3W-42 when the reeds failed I realized that to diagnose an engine properly when having difficulties you need a certain amount of tools. The one thing that became very apparent was that when working on the carburetor I did not not have all the tools to do a proper rebuild and check all the workings. So I purchased a pop of gauge and a Walbro tool kit and all the necessary connections and tubing . Now I am ready for the next carburetor repair.
