^Exactly how i do it, and though there are other way ive done it, i think that is the easiest, most consitent way.

Here's a recording from realflight of how I do it(really sloppy flight, haven't been on the sim in a while), but at least you can see my stick inputs. Didn't wrap up tightly because of realflights physics, but it's pretty violent in real life(Added music because of background noise)

jmart95 In the spirit of friendly competition, I attempted to one-up you. I switch from an outside spin (admittedly poor compared to yours) to an inside spin in the same maneuver. The positive angle of attack of the inside KE spin allows the plane to transition into a positive flat spin on the exit as opposed to a negative flat spin in your vid.

Nicely done Drew, I've always thought switching between the two looks good(and love a competition!)! Also how are you recording your session on realflight, I know you can't export a realflight recording through realflight so I'm not sure what to do.

I use fraps.com. I have the un-registered version, which is why my clip is only 30 seconds long. Once you download it, just use the video capture hotkey to start recording.

Fraps is pretty great because it also let's you do the voice over while you are flying. That is what I have used in my tutorials as well.

Start off with a down roll, then apply full left rudder, full down elevator, and full left aileron. Add power as the plane begins to spin to increase your spin rate.

Blender would be full left rudder, full down elevator, and full right aileron.

I never understood why some pilots call these maneuvers "tricks", or "moves"
I've always seen them presented as maneuvers as in the pattern and IMAC handbooks.

Juss my too sense...
