Just about ready to cover and then I realized that the wiring tube from the rear to the front has not been done. Making three Mylar tubes 5/8 diameter. One for the fuselage and one for each wing.

Made a start on the covering. The bottom was on in 20 minutes. Then came the bottom half of the one side. Well that took the rest of the day. All very nice to have a round and tapered in all directions fuselage looks great and scale but putting a flat sheet of Ultracote over it is another story. That was difficult but it is bone just not looking forward to doing the other side. If I did it again it would definitely be painted.

I give you credit for working with Ultracote. I recovered a plane for a friend using Ultracote and fought with it the entire time. Still prefer monocote.

Let’s just say I am making progress. I am having my difficulties, really fighting wrinkles. Covered a lot planes over years but nothing like this most planes were generally flat sided which make a huge difference. This plane does not have single flat side on it and also tapers on the curvatures.
