@TonyHallo
The FedEx problem was an individual at that location had a problem with transporting lithium batteries.
The Rx problem is something I ran into about two years ago when getting into 3D planes from 80cc and up. I was running into receiver holds and some odd servo movements, and could not figure it out. To cut a long story short it boiled down to the batteries I was using. When using multiple 300 oz servos and up, but with brushless servos it was more pronounced. You can buy various types of LiPo batteries ie, RX, 10 c all the way up to 70c . The batteries with the RX designation was giving me the problems. But if I used a battery with 25c and above the problem went away. What I discovered was that when using RX the voltage would drop enough the cause the receiver to shut down momentarily. But this did not happen with batteries rated at 25c. The RX type batteries are not designed to push large amounts of amps instantaneously and when asked to this they have big voltage drops.

FWIW, Alaska has been making it more difficult to transport hazmat over the last two years as well. Seeing that you have Turnigy/HobbyKing batteries - as of last year they wont ship LiPos to me anymore. I used to be able to cheat the system and order from the China warehouse instead of the US warehouse and they'd ship no problem. Not anymore.
As far as having issues with RX packs, is it possible you just got a bad batch? I need to get into testing IR, that would clear up any resistance issues. I just had to deplete a couple packs because of IR (tested under load, motor chugging).
I really love Pulse, Dinogy, and CNHL batteries.

Don't quite understand this statement, is this what cause the FedEx problem?

I have a fancy IR meter and live by it test every battery I have and keep good records. And I only figured it out about the RX batteries was with an oscilloscope and an IR meter. Now I know when a get a battery and do the IR checks if the battery will fit the needs of that particular plane. Just to give you an example RX batteries are around 16 to 22 Ir rating and the batteries I just received are around 2 to 3 Ir rating.

The batteries came from China and from hobby king. Never had any problems from any one else. But you should see the box they sent it in. It had stickers all over and it was hazardous and could not be transported in passenger air liners and several others. That does not help the situation.

Looks like they are going be harder to get delivered to your home in the future and I do not how to overcome this. LHS are disappearing.

Ok made all the extensions for the balance leads and power leads so that they can be readily accessed for charging and checking from the cockpit area. Just have installed the tray and run the wires back.

Noticed the decimal equivalent chart on your desk. Funny thing I just downloaded this file and had it printed and laminated at Staples two weeks ago, have it hanging above the lathe, printed on legal size paper so it is easy to read. Every time I needed to drill and tap something I had to get out the tap and die set and look under the lid, not anymore. Nice work on the batteries, leave mine in the plane most of the time and the plane stays in the van outside, hard on battery life.

Mine don’t come out either, they get removed in the fall and installed back into the plane in the spring.

Ok this is it the plane is DONE it is built. Sorry it took a little longer than it should have. Just have to run the engine and setup the radio. Everything is installed and the plane balanced nicely, it came out 1/8 inch tail heavy which I am going leave as is.
The cowl is already starting to bug me.

Snoop, lay a piece of narrow white covering over the point where the two oranges meet. Sometimes it helps to break up where colours are off from each other. If that works find a way a break the colours up.
