Love to learn 3D how would you suggest I approach it. Is there a good book for dummies.

I got lucky in a way when it comes to the 3D modeling in that I transferred into the engineering department at work so I get access to a really nice software for free along with the help of our designers in using it and learning it. I still want to take a formal class on it but its not a class I need so it has to wait until I have taking all the classes that I need to complete my degree. For reference we use Autodesk Inventor. There are free options out there. Fusion 360 I think still has a free option but I believe it is limited. Google Sketchup is another option as well and there are tons of youtube videos on it.

@BalsaDust can you help me please. Below is a PDF of plane that I believe can help me with my design of the delta. Would it be possible for you to copy this PDF into AutoCAD dwg so that I can manipulate it and use to see if can make changes to my plane To make the EDF work. If can can you send the dwg file, thanks.

I will see what I can do tomorrow when I'm at my computer.

Ran Across a new 20cc Kit profile on the market with Carolina custom kits, called the "Wind Hammer"

Also ran across the New Horizon Hobby Draco X, price is a bit steep for me, but top notch foam airplane right there.

Draco looks awesome but I wish they had stuck with a smaller version like 1.5M or so as $600 is a hard pill to swallow for a foamy.

Profile looks nice but its basically a copy of the Mojo65 with some modifications done to it.

Check your email I just forwarded the files to you. Three different files. One is the templates for cutting parts that are full size. Second is the assembly drawing like you had pictured. It came through scaled down to fit on printer paper so I scaled it up to be as close as possible to the size of the templates. So the scaled up version is the third file.

I've been waiting almost a year now for the Dracos to arrive. Horizon announced them last year but then the pandemic came along and messed everything up. Hopefully I'll have some in stock before end of the month. Should be a great seller this year.

Sent some time mixing up the last of my glow fuel for this season. Had to make the best of what I had left because Toledo is no more. But Klotz no longer makes nitro so that’s it for me when the fuel runs out I will be converting everything to electric or gas. I may just keep one on glow just need my fix of glow fuel once in a while.

Spent a little time in shop and loosely jigged the cowl parts together and it looks good, this will Give me a good start to plank it and make a nice fitting cowl.
The motor bulkheads have been glued together, they are ready for the assembly. The landing gear plate is glued together and the side supports fitted.

Made a little progress on fuselage got everything lined up and fitted. Took a little bit of work to get it straight and square. But stopped and discovered that the landing gear plate was not good enough and needed some strengthening. So in the process of making two more half bulkheads to double up on the existing ones.
Once that is done it will all be fitted together again.
