Needed a bit of relief for the side of the muffler in the cowl.

Then mocked up the dummy radial again. It just occurred to me if I want the dummy cowl mounted to the engine I’m going to have to make a opening all the way to the edge for the exhaust in order to make it work. Hmmm. I don’t like hacking up a cowling but might just have to.

I’ve repainted the full scale tail cone in these colors, and I remember using a laser to help keep the lines strait. I didn’t want to go full blown perfectionist, so I used blue masking tape. Made the lines strait to the tail and crossed in the middle. Then masked off the ends so they were about level with the sides. The trimmed with a xacto blade and my eye ball. Offf. Took a while!
