I kinda thought CA would not be appropriate. No need to fill the weave, just a coat of epoxy primer before paint. Not covering the exits with fabric, just a reinforcement patch around the cable slit. I don't currently have any canopy glue (hint - don't leave it out in your unheated garage all winter). I'm trying some of this stuff on a test piece.NO I would not use CA. Are you going to cover the exit with fabric? Do you need to fill the weave on the product you are using? I would use a flexible glue or canopy cement.
Nice job on the seats , but have a question what is that electrical type connector on the side of the seat. It does not look like a connector.Just used some fabric cement over the weekend to glue stimulated piping on the Champ seats. Here's a before and after.

It reminded me a lot like canopy glue, white and dried clear in a hour or so. The wire was held in place with tape and the glue was applied with a Monoeject between the tape, after a hour the tape was removed the those areas were glued.Looks like it worked well. How long did it take to cure? My test piece has sat for about 5 hrs and I could peel it apart if I wanted to. I'm gonna give it overnight and see.
