Looks nice balsa. Makes me want to start working on mine..............it's out of the shipping box but still covered in the bubble wrap.

My tail wheel assembly is getting a little tired and old so I'm looking for a suitable upgrade. I've checked out J&J and WRE already and man they are nice!! I'm sure there are others as well so if any of you guys have any suggestions of what you're using or have used in the past let me know. Also if you have any pics I'd like to see them.

I've used the J&J before and they are great.. Still running the stock setup on my 104 but if I have to replace it the J&J would be my first stop

I put a J&J tailwheel on mine. It is definitely an improvement. I did have to modify the existing carbon boom though.

Thanks guys. Were they tiller or spring? I'm kind of digging the spring set ups but also like the ease of use with the tiller.

Here you go. As I said before, I had to use some epoxy filler on the boom. I filled it in to take up the space when using the bolt that comes with the J&J tailwheel. Alternatively a bushing could be fitted to take up the same space.
