I have a newbie question why can't you just use tri stock

Thanks

Adam

What Terry said. It's actually a very good question. I can't believe with all the building I did in the 70's, 80"s and 90"s I ask the most basic newbie questions of Rick and Terry. Not sure what I would do with out all that knowledge and help.

Going to try and put up some good pics tonight.

Had a couple pics on my phone from last night. I prepped the stabs for sheeting to night. I can't believe how perfect everything lined up with the stabs once the phenolics were installed. I am really enjoying my new little hot wire cutter tool.

NO such thing as a bad question. Like you I was out of the RC for a few years and when I cam back lots had changed. Also when I started building again I had to go back and re learn things I had forgotten. A lot of things I see brought up again are things we did years ago but know with new twist. It’s all good info

Finally got back to work on it today. I sheeted the stabs, they are in the bag drying tonight. Most of my time went to mounting the cowl. I used Loctite Hysol to glue the cowl. This stuff is crazy strong and easy to work with but very $$. The rudder is mounted and I have plenty of throw using 1" stock on the rudder. After flying tomorrow I hope to get the wings sheeted.

Bipe I hope your back is healed I haven't seen any posts.

Looking good Spats, my back is all better and I finally got my truck back from the body shop yesterday. I have the belly pan ready to go in the bag today and I will be working on the stabs today too.
