Funny that they knew where to send the letter since there is no real private info such as address on YouTube. I wonder if this was just something stupid someone pulled from their arse. I know I'll be posting tons of vids this summer and just got some fresh GoPro mounts to put on a plane so they can suck it and enjoy the video.
I've got piles of 3D video on my YouTube channel. I'm about sick of this crap. Eff them.

Awesome job on finding that to calm the waters.

It doesn't answer anything... they are still trying to figure out how hard they want to screw everyone. And no one said they were taking the videos down, they are just selectively pursuing people.

I know around 10 guys who have posted videos of "test and tune" days with their large commercial rigs. They were not being paid to do the filming, they were tuning their machines. But SINCE they have been flagged as a commercial operator at some point the FAA has deemed that ALL their flights are commercial.

This mess is still a mess. And the new "awesome $500 a license regulations" are looking like they will not be implemented any time soon... so again, I sit here with $85K in aerial rigs, and people calling me to work, and many times I can't.

STILL SUCKS.
